Chartered Certified Accountant designated by ACCA or FCCA is a designation awarded by the UK based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Chartered Certified Accountants (CCAs) form a group of professionally qualified accountants responsible for a variety of tasks such as Auditing financial records, reviewing and certifying accounts’ books, balance sheets and other statutory returns. They offer strategic and operational business advice, perform budgeting and reporting and investigate finance and accounting issues.
ACCA course is designed for certifying professionals for their chartered accountant practice. It inculcates in its takers, superior technical skills and analytic expertise to fields like strategic planning, market analysis, change management and the use of information technology.
Graduates in any field are eligible to take the course.
The CCA Program can be completed in a period of 6 to 24 months.

An Indian student must pay INR 28800/- as fee for ACCA whereas, international students have to pay US $1200.
CCAs are employed in commercial establishments in both public and private sectors particularly in the financial services industry.
Their areas of influence include corporate finance, insurance, asset management and private client handling. Professionals with accounting qualifications are in high demand.
